This is a very unusual table top type diorama. It is meant to sit on a table rather than be hung on a wall. The box is triangular in shape ie wider on the bottom and thinner on the top (see size below) The diorama shows a three masted bark with furled sails. She sits on a rather primitive style sea. There is a lighthouse on shore at the bow of the boat, with a dory on a davit, just waiting to be used for a rescue. The box is 100% original, the boat has been very nicely restored. You will note that it looks like there are two boats, but in reality there is one, for in the back of the diorama there is a mirror which reflects the entire showcase. This is a simple and extremely nice diorama.

Size: 16" wide X 5 1/2" deep (bottom) 3 1/2" deep (top) and 10 3/4" high In addition, there are stabalizing feet the extend 3/4" on each bottom corner
