Nice early (1900's) boxed (liquid filled) compass made by Oliver, New York. This is a fully boxed and gimbeled compass. It is in its original box and includes the serial number (2739) on both the brass compass ring and the gimbel ring. The box has an opening on the right side that once had an alcholol side burner attached.

Size: Box size - 6 1/2" wide X 9" tall X 6 1/4" deep. the compass face is 3 1/2"
