This is a very large pond model from 1959. It was built by William Wadsworth of Marblehead MA and Camden ME. He built about 8 of these models (some of different sizes) and gave them to local people so he could race against them. The sails and most of the lines are original (the jib has been patched) The steering is "windvane" - Everything works on this model and is ready to sail if you want to put it in the water. The original name of the boat "Jet" is stenciled on both the transom and hatch cover. Actual dimentions and Wadsworth's signature is written on the underside of the hatch cover. A wonderful and rare boat.
