You will never see another steam launch like this one. The Boucher company was a kit company out of New York City. This boat was made in the early 20's by an inventor. He decided that propellers were inefficient, so invented the dolphin type fin and replaced the original propeller that came with the boat (it is included with this model). It is my understanding that the maker (I have his name and some information) got a patent on his invention, but I have not had a chance to go look for it. Everything is original and works on this model. I have had the steam engine running, and the dolphin flap works. The cradel is new.
