This is a fairly plain and simple diorama of a Maine made square rigged "coaster". The boat is nicely rigged using canvas sails. Many of these were done with either no sails or wood carved sails. This is one of the few that I have seen with canvas sails. There have been some repairs to the rigging and some overpainting on the water. All else looks to be original.
