This is an unusual and nice diorama of three boats, one a two masted bark and two tug boats. The bark is named "Hainaut" the larger tug is named "Nordzee, the smaller tug in unnamed.
I believe the "Hainaut" is a Belgian built boat, while the "Nordzee" was launched in Germany in the early 20's. her home port was in Holland. Accordingly, I believe this diorama depicts the "Hainat" coming in to a port in Holland.
The boats are all original, with some minor repairs. There are some very minor (but stable) cracks in the plaster water. There is glass on three sides (the front is open). A fourth piece of glass could be easily attached.
