Clocks & Brass: English Stick Barometer

This is a wonderful old (1800's) "stick" style barometer. The backing is hand carved and original to the barometer. The face is made of brass and the lettering is in "old English" lettering. The hanging hook is made from an old nail. The mercury is separated in the glass, but this does not affect it's value. It could easily be fixed. By the way, it is legal to sell antique barometers filled with mercury in the State of Maine.
