"Kelvin & Willard D. White"  boxed Azimuth Mirror

For the collector of navigational instruments - (c 1920)  This rare and unusual instrument is used in conjunction with a compass to take barings from the sun & stars to get a boats headings. Not many of these were actually used, as they were a back up to sextants. This one is made by Kelvin & Williard D. White Co - Boston, Mass. It is in its original box with the original instruction label on the inside cover. Azimuth Mirror is in excellent condition to include the balancing bubble on the front end of the instrument. Note the original leather carrying strap and brass label on front of the box.
